Think your beauty products have what it takes to win one of our awards? Then submit them for official evaluation and testing!
HOW IT WORKS (IT’S EASY)
- Register your products at submissions.thebeautyawards.ca
- Provide us with product information, pricing, purchase links, and a submission fee by December 11, 2022
- Mail us ten units of each product you submitted by January 9, 2022.
- Your products will then be rigorously tested and evaluated by our panel of industry experts and beauty editors over a period of 60 days.
- If your products get chosen to win one of our awards, you’ll be notified by a beauty awards representative in early 2023 with more information.
- All winners will be announced Fall/Winter 2023!

Only those products that are being submitted for a ‘Best New’ award designations need to have been released between January 1, 2022 - September 1, 2023. For all other award designations, products can be released at any time.
You can promote your award designation however you like! The options are endless. As a winner, you’ll also unlock a variety of exclusive and unique amplification opportunities that make it easy to maximize the impact of your award.
Ten sample products need to be received by the sample delivery date (January 9, 2023) and can be shipped any time prior. The shipping address is:

All winners will appear in a special Beauty Awards editorial feature that will be published in print and digital across FASHION, Chatelaine and Châtelaine. The feature will launch Fall/Winter 2023. Winning products will also be showcased on the official thebeautyawards.ca website.
Yes, you can submit products that haven't been released yet. However, the products need to be available for sale on the Canadian market by September 1, 2023. You would also need to be able to provide us with ten samples of the product by the sample delivery date, January 9, 2023.
You can submit a product into multiple award designations, but that product will only be eligible to win in one of those award designations. Products being submitted into multiple award designations need to be entered as separate submissions as they will be judged separately and may be tested by a different set of judges.
The fee to submit a product is $500 CAD per award designation submission.
As part of the evaluation process, your product samples get distributed to a panel of beauty editors and industry experts for testing and evaluation. We also save a few of your samples to use for photography and promotional purposes in the event that your product wins an award.
As part of their job, our beauty editors get exposed to thousands of products every year, making it impossible to evaluate and test them all. Our submissions process ensures that your product will not get lost among the mountain of beauty PR sent to use every year. By paying a submission fee, we guarantee that your product will be thoroughly tested and evaluated by our panel of beauty editors and industry experts for a chance to win one of our award designations. The Beauty Awards goes to great lengths to ensure the success and legitimacy of the program. Your submission fee helps us cover the many costs associated with maintaining the credibility and viability of the program.
Rules & regulations
- Products can be submitted for consideration into multiple award designations, but will only be eligible to win a maximum of one award designation.
- Winning products need to be available for sale in the Canadian market prior to the launch of the program.
- A single brand will only be eligible to win a maximum of two award designations in a single category.
- All participating brands must complete their submissions by December 11th 2022, and deliver their ten sample products by January 9th 2023 to be eligible to participate.
- Submission fees are non-refundable.
